What Are Custom Made Orthotics?
Custom Made or Bespoke Orthotics are prescription medical devices made from moulds of your feet.
They are designed to control alignment and function of the foot in order to treat or prevent injury-causing forces on bones, joints, tendons and ligaments.
Often they are used to limit motions such as excessive pronation (rolling-in) and excessive supination (rolling-out) and the effects that these positions may have on the body and it's movement patterns.
They can also act to redistribute pressure on the sole of the foot to relieve pain from excessive pressure or calluses.
